Otto & Spike

Otto & Spike 'Ostrich' Scarf in Grenadine Pink + Watercress Green

$90

The largest living bird has been hunted since Roman times for its meat and hide.

Due to their large size, Ostriches have also been used to pull buggies, not a popular form of transport for long.

The distinctive leather that we recognise from the Ostrich comes about because of raised hole left in the skin, or a vacant quill follicle. This scarf has a strong resemblance to the surface of Ostrich leather.

Otto & Spike adapted the pattern from the weave to a knit for this homey comforting friend.

  • Made in Melbourne from premium Australian Lambswool.
  • Scarf dimensions are 180cm x 21cm wide.
